I know the feeling, have a server whose motherboard needed flashing, but flash utility only available in 32bit version, ended up loading Slackware 32bit, worked a treat.
http://www.slackware.com/install/sysreq.php Requires: Intel 486, 64MB RAM, CD or DVD or bootable USB, 5GB hard drive. Release notes: http://www.slackware.com/announce/15.0.php says: The 32-bit x86 version may be found here: ftp://ftp.slackware.com/pub/slackware/slackware-15.0/
