Wasn't too hard, still desktop shopping. $ sudo dnf install lightdm lightdm-gtk-greeter $ sudo dnf install @xfce-desktop-environment $ sudo systemctl disable gdm $ sudo systemctl enable lightdm $ systemctl reboot Have to pick the xsession at start, menu in the upper right corner, then log in, right click settings to change desktop image.
Yes, I dumped Gnome quite some time ago. I've been running XFCE. It looks like you are converting your original Gnome/Default Fedora install. I've just been installing the XFCE spin provided by Fedora or Centos.

I have a laptop I run the XFCE on as well! So, is it running X11, then?
