Wasn't too hard, still desktop shopping.

$ sudo dnf install lightdm lightdm-gtk-greeter
$ sudo dnf install @xfce-desktop-environment
$ sudo systemctl disable gdm
$ sudo systemctl enable lightdm
$ systemctl reboot

Have to pick the xsession at start, menu in the upper right corner, then log in, right click settings to change desktop image.
