Yes, I use pacmd to move the pulseaudio server to a different machine so I can use tcp to play audio there. pacmd dosen't see the local instance of pipewire-pulse, so I can't add the required module to it.
I don't see much info on pipewire, but before I kill it and use pulseaudio, I thought I would check around.
Currently, audio is working fine.

The man pages and online documentation for pipewire seems a bit sparse.
I am pretty sure it has to do with the audio mixer.
I took my Dell 350 PII and I installed Debian and I got sound going with amixer.
