Just to close the thread.
I got a VPS, Virtual Private Server. I already rent an external web server with hostpapa
and adding this "feature" only cost me $3/month. It has a static ip and I use
ssh -R to set up the tunnels for inbound traffic. It comes with a naked firewall, and I
still need to do that. But so far it does what I need and I can get a standard
residential plan and be good.
I've already been using systemd to maintain some ssh -R tunnels when I had my own ip.
There are a few gotchas, but I have a couple of years of experience with that and it is
pretty settled now. I'll just transfer that config to the new VPS.

I'm looking at a business plan just so I can have an IP address. I"ve been on an
old DSL plan for so long, things have really changed.
