I trashed my system before too! I think I stopped the install in the middle. I still have
yet to recover it! Maybe rather than hack on old Pentium II systems, I ought to restore my

I ran Fedora for a while until an version upgrade trashed my grub2 (ack, foo) setup.
Rather than dive into grub arcana, I backed up my files and installed OpenBSD. Lesson
learned! Be wary of upgrades, do a full backup first.
