I'm working with Drupal and its notoriously steep learning curve. The tags file is less helpful than it could be because I think it is tracking more than definitions. It has been awhile, but I know that tagging on something that returns 800 "choice" is probably not correct.
Does anybody know how to make "Exuberant ctags" a little less exuberant? Just the definitions, not the references?
Man. crickets. Few things can really pee in the development pool like drupal. Just trying to manage version to version changes in your CMS should not be harder than building a website one brick at a time instead. Never understood how anyone could make something so simple so hard.

To be fair, the question was about "ctags"; "Drupal" was ancillary context, although I was hoping to hear from someone with Drupal development experience.
Drupal is complex, but it is incredibly versatile. "Site Building" is extremely fast because Drupal packs so much flexibility. Development is well structured, and I like "php".
