Hi Folks,
If I am on a Windows workstation and I RDP to another Windows machine,

is the Fedora workstation is supposed to be configured to participate
in TLS authentication/encryption, and why is it not, and what do I do
about it? How can this be tested?

tcpdump/wireshark is your friend. I think you said previously, "not
going down that path". Otherwise, check the log files or put the tool in
-vvv mode or whatever debug mode it may have. Usually on Windows, it
says do you "trust this certificate". You may have to tell it to accept
the certificate even though it does not recognize the signer, or it's
self signed.
