The grass is greener of the leech lines and the tomatoes grow well too!

Well, the grass is always greener.
When I lived in Albuquerque, they had a 100 year old city sanitary
sewer. It was collapsing, meaning it had cracks and holes and such. It
didn't really smell, but the roaches really liked it. They were in the
process of repairing it, but it was going to take a decade. Maybe more.
My problem was that someone used WAY TOO MUCH toilet paper. I had to
find the lid. After I opened it and could see the problem, I just
knocked the big tp plug off the end of the pipe and life was good. I
added some stuff that is suppose to disolve tp and we'll see how it
goes.
I'm refilling the hole so that it will be easier to access the lid in
the future. You know, they put it half way under the driveway LOL

Yeah, I'll go with city based services! There
used to be a cesspool in
my driveway that looks like they built before Sacramento had a sewer
system.

I'll check it out. Right now, I'm
dealing with a big hole over a septic
system in the front yard. Everything always happens at once :)
