close! Wouldn't you know it! I wonder if Silver Skillet is still open?!

I was suspicious of Hacker Lab model from the get go, but they seemed to
attract a lot of people with the montly membership. It's hard to say
what happened with Covid!
I would like to do a meetup some time soon! I see that Silver Skillet is
open! It's indoors though.

I'd prefer something further north: Salem (OR) has several nice
cafes nearby. =;^)
Anyone else heard the rumor that Microsoft is buying Canonical
in an all-cash offer?

So, I took a look.
Out of 15 LUG's in Washington and Oregon returned by Google searching, only one had an
up to date, functioning web page: BELUG in Bellingham, http://www.bellevuelinux.org/. If
the last date/post on the page was before 2021, I considered it out of date.
Our site is sort of up to date.
Do we need to do something?
I understand the 49er has been remodeled since we used it. It's on my list to stop by
and check it out.

NBLUG is hosting monthly meetings at an outdoor location in Cotati!
The author of xPDF is the president. their next meeting is August 9,
2022.
I am just about to get my private pilots license (PPL), so I am thinking
it would be cool to fly there for the meeting! It's about a half hour
flight to Petaluma from Sacramento.
