We've met is some pretty bizarre places in the past and made a presentation at the
meeting work. I think Kupros is more friendly to the social aspects of the meeting. But
I have some topics I would like to see at a meeting too. Like home automation and maybe
some scripting automation. As I was walking around bests buy yesterday, I was wondering
what kind of set up people who are doing Linux with audio and video are using.
Googling for info is find, but it doesn't seem as productive as in the past and I
think meetings and the list might get a bit of a revival due to that.
Also, I've been looking into enabling remote participation in the meetings. I mean,
we have some members in Sweden. And I think the technology is mature.
The holidays will probably slow things up, but I thought I would share my thoughts. And,
I have some ideas on venues th check out.

I'm back in Sac after having been in Austin TX for the last 3 years. I
wanted to join a LUG back in Austin but, ya know covid :(, so this is
my first ever LUG. It sounds like y'all meet monthly-ish at a brewery
or something? How does that usually work? Is there one scheduled this
month or not due to Thanksgiving?
