I bought a Lenovo ThinkPad P73 17.3" FHD i9-9880H 32GB 1TB SSD nvidia RTX 4000 for $2249 in Sep. 2020 so that's really good. The 17" display is ridiculous and the I9 pumps out enough heat to make a waffle with it. Think the real difference is that the memory is not soldered onto the motherboard. Great machine as long as you don't try and actually use it in your lap.
